Toxic People & Sexual Harrassment in the Workplace, Family & Relationships. Silver Linings, Near-death experiences and More with Dr. Linnda Durre’

Summary

Dr. Linnda Durre’, Ph.D., an acclaimed psychotherapist (FL #MH6058), forensic mental health evaluator (NBFE FL #000234), Mensa member, business consultant to Fortune 500 companies, and author of, Surviving the Toxic Workplace: Protect Yourself Against the Co-Workers, Bosses, and Work Environments That Poison Your Day (McGraw Hill 2010).   If you sometimes feel like you’re trapped in an episode of The Office, her book might be for you.

This phenomenal episode is all about near-death experiences, the mysteries of neurology, “after-death” visions; depression, cool ‘godshots’ (sliver linings) and how to deal with toxic people and sexual harrassment in the workpace.  But her answers are not typical at all. She is really an advanced human being! And she went through lots of rejection in business and with book publishers but the right one arrived just on time due to “letting go.”

She is on the Board of Directors of the charity, Children Mending Hearts Foundation, which was founded by George Clooney’s writing, directing, producing and business partner, Grant Heslov and his wife Lysa.

Dr. Durre’ has been on 60 Minutes, The Today Show, 60 Minutes, Oprah, Fox, CBS, NBC, NPR, PBS, ABC, CW, and dozens of national TV and radio shows discussing hot-button topics, such as the priest sex-abuse scandal and how to nurture children during the healing process on The O’Reilly Factor.   Dr. Durre’ was selected from 200 applicants in a national search to host, “Ask the Family Therapist,” on America’s Health Network (AHN), which was associated with Mayo Clinic, and was vetted by both AHN and Mayo Clinic.

There were seven call-in advice doctor shows on AHN, which all aired at Universal Studios Orlando. Linnda Durre’ is also an award-winning filmmaker, writer, and director.   Linnda Durre’ was admitted to the Writers Guild of America (WGA) when she sold a TV series to Aaron Spelling, when she was 22, and she was asked to be a comedy staff writer for “Laugh-In” when she was 19. She has been admitted to SAG, AFTRA, and ASCAP.
